A. Lincoln and Obadiah Holmes

I was researching an ancestor of mine on the internet and found that his most famous descendant was Abraham Lincoln, sixteenth President of the USA.
The ancestor was Obadiah Holmes.
Just recently I found a blog post by Randy Seaver of California about his line back to Obadiah.
The three of us come from different daughters of one of the founders of the Baptist religion in America.

I thought it so interesting that I listed mine and links to these blogs on my Squidoo Lens "Lincoln's Ghost."

I wonder how many descendants this man had.
It seems that Mr. Lincoln was related to the Boones of Kentucky.
How many people tie into his ancestral lines?
I would like some input from my readers about these questions.
